SMC is Sephora’s most important internal event of the year, bringing together 700+ US Store Managers from across the United States. This year was special, celebrating Sephora’s 25th Anniversary of the first store opening in the US. 700+ managers were invited to spend 2.5 days learning about Field Objectives, Holiday Initiatives, and Brand Storytelling from global executives, industry leaders and a host of celebrity speakers including Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani and Michelle Pfieffer. In additional to general sessions and workshops guests had the opportunity to explore the Multi-World Brand Experience featuring more than 80 top selling brands showcasing their products out of custom booths.
The conference covered over 97,000 square feet, accommodating general sessions, breakouts, brand experiences, reception and meal functions and parties. As Sephora’s main production partner, HATCH was entrusted with designing and executing a memorable event for Sephora employees. The goal was to provide attendees with inspiring updates from senior leadership and brands, achieved through engaging activities, interactive sessions, and social gatherings. From registration and travel management to stage design and production, Hatch expertly curated and organized sessions, activities, and evening events. Additionally, HATCH partnered with 20+ brands to ideate, produce, fabricate and execute their immersive experiences as part of the Multi–World Brand Experience.
