Hatch was brought on to produce the best in show immersive fan experience for WB Games at the GameStop EXPO in Anaheim, CA.
The 4,500 sq/ft booth was designed to give fans an opportunity for hands on gameplay of five of WB Games biggest titles. Balancing multiple WB Games stakeholders’ asks, Hatch created a custom set that immersed guests in the worlds of Batman Arkham Knight, Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor, LEGO Batman 3 Beyond Gotham, Dying Light and Mortal Kombat X .
Out team built an immersive set featuring a full scale model of the Arkham Knight Batmobile, custom props and scenic elements. We designed large format scenic and brand graphics as well as motion content and managed fabrication, installation, A/V elements, convention services and shipping logistics.
to celebrate the launch of Batman: Arkham Knight we showcased an exhibition reimagining the Caped Crusader’s iconic Cape and Cowl headpiece. Using life-sized replicas of Batman’s famous costume as a blank canvas, artists and celebrities produced their own unique interpretation of the Dark Knight’s attire.
Fans participated in hands-on gameplay at towering custom built kiosks and Mortal Kombat X tournaments complete with shout-casters and leaderboards.
A wrap around projection screen surrounding the entire booth drew crowds in for special celebrity meet and greets and enter to win prizes.
Best of all, the WB Games booth was awarded the “Best Booth of the Expo” award by GameStop, their first ever win.
