LG Electronics partnered with Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures to host the premiere of one of the summer’s most anticipated films, “Godzilla.”
LG rolled out the red carpet for its curved, flexible smartphone, LG G Flex, along with the movie’s cast and filmmakers at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, to celebrate the most revered creature in movie culture in an evening dotted with innovative technology and fun fan surprises.
Attendees of the Aftermath After Party had the chance to visit the LG Store to get a glimpse of tomorrow’s innovative technology from LG – and try their hand at knocking out Godzilla’s roar. LG also offered fans exclusive content for those seeking a snapshot before the movie hit theaters.
The afterparty, during which guests dined on sushi and grilled meat on skewers, featured props and elements from last year’s “Godzilla Encounter” that Legendary produced for San Diego Comic-Con, including the working ramen noodle restaurant, display of Godzilla figures and creature carnage featuring overturned cars and military vehicles, while in the center of the party was a 200-foot-tall Godzilla.
Hatch teamed up with 15/40 productions and JetSets to incorporate the LG Store at the official after party, where attendees that survived Godzilla’s destruction on the big screen were treated to various experience zones, highlighting LG G Flex’s innovations such as its immersive viewing and LG Knock Code security feature.
Hatch designed and fabricated a pop up store experience that featured exclusive Godzilla content playing on LG’s latest innovation, the LG OLED Curved TV and G Flex Smartphones. Two of the biggest highlights of the after party included a custom programmed “Knock Code” game on a 70” touch screen TV demonstrating LG latest security technology and a green screen photo booth that placed guests directly in the path of Godzilla herself!
