The highly anticipated debut of EA Games’ Star Wars Battlefront was one of the highlights of the 2015 Star Wars Celebration at the Anaheim Convention Center. Press and fans were treated to a first look at EA’s new title in the franchise in the most high tech immersive environment the company has every put together.
Hatch was tasked to design, fabricate, install and manage the activation. Taking into account technical requirements, flow and line management as well as the authenticity and immersive benchmarks set by both EA and Star Wars fans we developed the perfect solution by recreating the Rebel Briefing Room on the Home One star cruiser from Star Wars, Return of the Jedi.
The concept and execution blended a thematically realistic immersive environment with a fully functional cinematic experience.
Incorporating Dolby Atmos Multidimensional theater sound and Christie digital cinema projectors consumers were transported into the action like never before.
All controls and technical equipment were incorporated into the set and the fifteen-minute presentations were carefully planned from a line management and flow perspective to maximize efficiency throughout the four-day activation.
