For the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Festival, iHeartMedia brought on Hatch to work with their media partner, The CW, to produce their fan engagement activations.
At the festival’s Daytime Village, we created several fan experiences spread out throughout the festival grounds.
Fans were given the opportunity to take a unique photo under our manmade rain storm to share on social media. Brand ambassadors passed out waterproof phone cases and branded umbrellas to guests who stood in a rain despite there not being a single cloud in the sky.
Elsewhere around the festival fans could lounge in the shade and recharge their phones at one of several The CW Oases or test their surfing skills on a simulator. And to help cool off from the desert heat we parked a self-service Hawaiian shaved ice truck right in the middle of the festival.
Inside the main arena we hosted the backstage VIP party and produced the media lounge.
