Huntington Beach was buzzing with spectators during the Vans US Open of Surfing presented by Swatch in August of 2019.
Swatch was on-board with on-site activities including a meet-and-greet with Nora Vasconcellos, a yoga session with Tia Blanco, Coco Ho and Courtney Conlogue, live music, and a raffle for fun Swatch prizes like the stylish event watch and VIP swag bag.
Hatch was brought on to design, fabricate and manage the title sponsor’s onsite activation. It was the second year that Swatch presented the Vans US Open of Surfing, and the second-time Swatch brought on Hatch to handle their onsite presence.
We worked with the World Surf League and Swatch to organically integrate the brand into the event creating multiple activations and touchpoints for fans.
In addition to the design and fabrication of the Swatch beach pop-up and on-site branding we managed meet and greet sessions and live artist activations as well as off-site consumer activations at local retail stores and the Pro/Fan yoga session at a nearby hotel.
